added some detailing to the AG units. Too bad most will be hidden. I also bounced a dremel across several sections to rough them up, add a few small holes etc...

Box Art diorama- AFS. MkI and Crashed Neuspotter

I was  very inspired by a WIP thread on the MaK board by Francesco Benedettini-http://maschinenkrueger.com/forum/index.php?topic=7615.0

I wanted to do my own version of the box top art as well. I had a Neuspotter that had sen better days after a few accidents, so what the hey? make it look really beat up. I will add a AFS 1 to go with it. The internals are just old wires and springs that I had in the spares box. I plan to make it look like its also been partially burned as well. The parts have been deformed in some places with the old handy candle. I still have some fiddling to do with the arms, maybe another wire or two. Not sure. The groundwork will be really simple, since I stink at groundwork and don't really enjoy building it. I LOVE to see well done bases, I just cannot seem to make myself put in the work.

I'm calling this part of the build done. Now its on to the base....

we are decaled up!. I posed the technician chick with the Hummel to get some scale on the beast. The probable base will be a simple tarmac, and one or two figures, maintenance guys, from the Tamiya 1/20 race crew set.

I got the Hummel in the mail yesterday. Man it;'s beautiful. I had to just jump in and start. It's showing its age in some areas, but I love the new landing gear and overall look. I could not resist making a few minor additions, just some unused bits that were meant for the Fledermaus and I changed the location of the power pipe. I added a few more antennae, it IS a drone after all. Filled in the blank space in the air intakes a little to suggest machinery. Male up what you want for the rest of the added bits. ..chafe/ reaction thrusters?
